WCMYA is made up of a group of individuals dedicated to sailing, racing and promoting Radio Controlled sailing on the West Coast of Canada, with great alliances with our good friends in the USA. In general, except for events the cost of keeping WCMYA a viable organization is very low due to the volunteer spirit of our members. Through their generosity a handful of individuals have sustained this organization.

As a very active group of radio sailors, we feel the need for a small membership fee to support the activities of WCMYA, namely our fleet status with the AMYA, events, event planning, and venue prep. The WCMYA annual dues are $10.00 commencing January 1st. Please keep in mind that as a member of the Yahoo Group you are in no way obligated to become a dues paying member of WCMYA.

To participate in all events other than local club events it is a prerequisite to be a CRYA member. It will not be mandatory to be a dues paid member of WCMYA to participate in any given event.

We feel it is very important to our sport to support our National Association (CRYA) or if you are a U.S. resident the American Model Yachting Association (AMYA).
